Windows Phone 8 Smartphones: Einsteiger bis High-End von HTC + Huawei kündigt Ascend an

Microsoft stellte unlängst Windows Phone 8 vor, die Features sind in nachfolgendem Artikel zusammengetragen: Windows Phone 8 vorgestellt. Nun gibt es konkrete Informationen vom Hardwarebauer HTC und dessen ersten geplanten Windows Phone 8 Smartphones. Die Infos entstammen einer geleakten Roadmap.

Die HTC WP8 Smartphones

  • Das HTC Rio soll ein 4 Zoll WVGA Display, 14,4 Mbps HSPA (4G), 5 Megapixel Kamera (720p), 512 MB RAM sowie einen Qualcomm MSM8227 (Snapdragon S4 Plus) besitzen.
  • Das HTC Accord soll ein 4,3 Zoll 720p S-LCD 2, 8 Megapixel Kamera (1080p), 42Mbps HSPA+, NFC sowie 1 GB RAM besitzen. Als Chip soll ein Dual-Core von Qualcomm verbaut sein (vielleicht ein MSM8260A?).
  • Das HTC Zenith soll über ein 4,7 Zoll 720p S-LCD 2, 8 Megapixel Kamera (1080p), 42Mbps HSPA+ sowie ein Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon verfügen.

Über weitere Details wie die Größe des internen Speichers, ob ein MicroSD Speicherkartenslot oder eine Frontkamera verbaut sein wird ist noch nichts bekannt. Ebenso sind noch keine Preise bekannt. Die drei Windows Phone 8 Smartphones sollen allerdings noch im Jahr 2012 erscheinen, genauer: das Rio und Accord im Oktober sowie das Zenith im 4. Quartal.

Das Huawei WP8 Smartphone

Der chinesische Hardwarebauer Huawei (einer der Hersteller der ersten WP8 Smartphones) hat angekündigt, dass das Windows Phone 8 Smartphone Ascend in den USA, Europa und China veröffentlicht werden wird. Hardwaredetails sind allerdings noch keine bekannt.

Huawei is one of the selected vendors in the world to carry the Windows Phone 8 operating system on its smartphones.

“2012 is building up to be a great year for Huawei. Now, we are poised to end the year with a big bang – with the introduction of our first smartphone running on the Windows Phone platform. We’re very excited about this relationship with Microsoft which will enable us to provide our customers with a bigger array of Huawei smartphone choices,” says Shao Yang, chief marketing officer, Huawei Device.

The Huawei Ascend with Windows Phone 8 is expected to be available in Europe, China and United States, with other markets to follow. It will be marketed through a series of promotional activities in conjunction with key mobile operators around the world.

  1. Das HTC Zenith hört sich ja schon mal sehr verlockend an. Sollte Samsung nichts vergleichbar großes anbieten, wird das wohl meine erste Wahl. Ich bin mit meinem HTC Titan sehr zufrieden und mit WP 7.5 erst recht. Hatte noch nie so viel Freude an einem Mobile-Phone. Ich freue mich auf die 8 von Microsoft!

    Mmh also ich denke mal dass das HTC Zenith mein nächstes WP wird, hoffentlich hat es auch einen Beats Audio Chip. 😉

  3. Wenn Nokia mir nicht mehr zusagt, dann wirds zu 90% das HTC Accord und zu 10% das HTC Zenith. Hoffentlich mit BeatsAudio Chip wie “julian92” bereits geschrieben hat.

  4. Das Zenith könnte ein Titan III sein, ist mir aber zu groß. Denke ich kann dann auch auf nen Quadcore verzichten.
    Auf sowas wie das Accord als HD8 spekuliere ich schon länger. Das hat für mich die perfekte Größe und die Specs klingen auch schonmal vielversprechend.
    Beats Audio wäre dann wohl die Kirsche auf dem Sahnehäubchen, aber das wollte HTC doch eh mal für WP bringen. Wenn nicht jetzt wann dann?
    Hoffentlich kommen dazu in naher Zukunft nähere Informationen.

    • Sehe ich auch so, nur dass ich noch nicht weiß, ob 4,7″ alltagstauglich sind. Meine 3,8″(LG Optimus 7) sind jedenfalls zu wenig 🙂

      Ich tendiere auch zum Accord da mir 4,7 Zoll zu groß sind, aber mal abwarten was Samsung noch bringt die sollen ja “angeblich” an einem SGS 3 mit WP 8 basteln.

    Ich bin auf die anderen Hersteller gespannt, vor allem auch auf Nokia. Samsung sagt mir meist nicht so zu im Design.

    Das HD 7 war eine Frechheit und Samsung´s Galaxy Reihe ist von der Verarbeitung auch nicht das ware . Ich denke Nokia wirds bei mir werden
