Unter anderem mit diesem Satz sucht Microsoft aktuell nach fähigen Entwicklern für Windows Phone 8 (Apollo). Zu Apollo ist noch nicht viel bekannt, außer, dass es nach Mango (Herbst 2011) und dem Update Tango kommen wird. Auf Microsoft Research heißt es zu WP8:

„one-handed text input, voice texting, and a new localization and inspiration and context engine.“

Einige Quellen behaupten, dass Windows Phone 8 und Windows 8 näher zusammenwachsen werden. Aber das sind nur Gerüchte und nähere Details sind auch unklar.
